Excavations for the construction of a new parking garage off of North Medical Drive will begin on Monday, October 26, 2020. The new garage will offer over 1,000 new parking stalls to the area around University Hospital and the currently under-construction Kathryn F. Kirk Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care and Women’s Cancers.
The excavation will mean more trucks coming and going from the construction site, which is just across North Medical Drive from the University Hospital Helipad Garage. This could lead to minor traffic slowdowns around the site during the excavation activity, which is anticipated to last five months.
